Image by travelling.steve via FlickrWhat do most artistic people have in common? They have the ability to see what can be. They can chip away at a piece of wood or stone and see the hidden statue inside of it.
They can take the colours of the rainbow and blend them together to create a painting of sunsets or faces that rival a photograph.
They can take strands of wool and weave them into a piece of clothing or a wall hanging with patterns of unbelievable complexity.
Or they can take the left over, waste or junk from a pile of metal and create the fellows below. These are on the fence at our cabin. They are just so cute. Unfortunately every once in a while we find one of them mounting the other because men never grow up and all they think of is sex.
Now you know just one more reason why I rarely go up to the cabin and when I do it is with a group of women. At least we know how to behave. Snort.
