Hello out there. Yes I am talking to you. Yes you. The one standing there trying not to be noticed. I see you (not really cause that would be creepy).
We all know we have wonderful people who follow our blogs on a regular basis but they stay in the wings. They don't comment.
I would like to invite you to speak up and leave a comment on any of my posts. I would like to get to know you. I am pretty sure if you are on here regularly you must have a great sense of humor or you wouldn't come back. You must also be pretty darned smart. I only have the best people on here so we know that is true.
Maybe you would like to join in on a meme and have never done so. Don't be shy. Join in and if you don't know how just ask. You can email if you don't want it public.
Our readers are the most important part of the blog otherwise we would just write it in a journal and leave it out in the bathroom hoping someone would snoop through it. So be the first, the next, to join in on the comments and feedback. I can't wait to meet you.

ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't get back to you earlier - I was looking forward to spending more time in other people's blogs once I was on vacation but it's been quite a whirlwind over the past few weeks trying to catch up with things and in particular running the Festival of Postcards. I'm new to that and it takes time to get used to how everything works.
I'm definitely going to spend more time over here in the next few days.

Blondie: I am naturally an inquisitive person (read that as nosy). Actually I just had two banner days in a row with over 200 visitors each day but the comments of course don't even come close to those numbers so my "inquisitiveness" came out. I have read on a few blogs how they just have gotten started and don't know what a meme is or how to participate and I remember how I felt when I started.
I love to pop in once in a while :) Thanks for not leaving this "journal" in the bathroom where I wouldn't be able to read it!

ReplyDeleteFunny thing today on BT they were talking about meme's and the only other time I have heard that expression is on your blog. I usually try to figure stuff out on my own (which is why I am technochallenged sometimes) but I give -- splain it to me Lori. What is a meme. And I doubt I could ever lurk - love your blog and aspire to grow up to be like you someday.
