Metamorphosis Monday is hosted by Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch. Please visit her beautiful site to see the interesting post she has done on photo aging. I will definitely be trying this.
My Victorian Planter got off to a slow start but has filled in nicely.

Not only can you see the growth in the flowers but you can see the metamorphosis of my deck.
The left photo shows the old deck and the right one shows the new black stain.
Mosaic Monday is hosted by Mary @ Little Red House. She also has the instructions there for those of you who have never made a mosaic before. Have a look at all the beautiful ones listed there.
When I posted the picture on the left a couple months ago lots of you commented on how much you liked the sun/moon face. Shortly after that the little zap strap that held it on the wall snapped and your can see the results. It was a very sad face then. Now the planter is growing nicely and I have propped up a piece fence in it to fill in the space.
Your Victorian Planter is very cool! I know how quickly some plants can grow. I went to see my Mom for a few days and when I got home I could not believe how big some of my plants were!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove the planter..they are all looking so lush now..and soon..nope, not even going to say it! We will enjoy the present!
ReplyDeleteI like the black stain...we use stain instead of paint too on the railings..the black looks very dramatic!
Have a good week!
Your planter looks great & I really like the black stain on the railing..classy!
ReplyDeleteThat planter is wonderful and the flowers look beautiful with the fencing behind them. It looks really purposeful. I hope you are having a good day.
ReplyDeleteThose planters are lovely. I love your mosaic.Have a nice day
ReplyDeleteWow you're great in the garden. I'm total creap and my yard is practically a wasteland :-( I wish I could get it together better - more gardening, less wine might help.
ReplyDeleteYour plants are doing beautifully. Love the black stain on the deck railing. I was so sad about that sun/moon face, but the new planter looks beautiful. Hope you have a great week. Kathy

I've bookmarked several of your outdoor pix for next year's yard/garden project at the Savant house.
ReplyDeleteFor now, they're in a folder called "Jealous".
Your victorian planter is filling in nicely.. love the black stain on your deck. I'm so sorry about yourr sun/moon falling off the wall. I always hate when things like that happen.. Happy MM ..hugs ~lynne~

ReplyDeletethanks!
Love your pot!

Ah too bad about the sun/moon face, it was really nice! If you kept the pieces maybe you could do a mosaic with those - broken pottery can be used in so many creative ways.
ReplyDeleteNice mosaic!
I love sweet potato plants. They look nice in your planter.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty. Looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love you planter. I am a new follower. # 98, actually. And I so wanted to be #100.
