Three or More Tuesday is on again and let's hope Mr. Linky holds up this time. Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner is once again the hostess with the mostest. You can click on the picture or the name to be directed there but wait...first have a look here and let me know you stopped by.
Tam's 3 or more today were her beautiful ruffled poppies. I will play poker with my poker face and not only see her 3 poppies but raise her 3 more. If she had waited one more week for this post I could have raised her 5 more but alas the white and the bi-colored poppies are not open yet. Now if I am correct Tam will promptly kick my butt and post a mass of incredible poppies the likes of which I have never seen sending me to the poppy poorhouse.
If you enlarge the picture you will see the bee inside of the yellow poppy at the bottom. Actually you can just see his bottom sticking out of the top yellow flower. I have just planted a new poppy that they say is a complete blue red not the common red one but they have been wrong before. I can't wait until that one blooms this year.
Lori,
ReplyDeleteyou are too funny and I'm folding...LOL.
I only have that one poppy plant. I 'try' plants and when I like them I get more but it would help if I didn't lose the plant tag and actually knew what the name is LOL.
Your Poppies are stunning, and you are the winner in this Poppy Poker showdown dear friend :o)
Happy Three Or More Tuesday,
Tam

Hello Lori! Love the Poppy Poker showdown bit! Your blooms are gorgeous and I can't wait to see red blue one. And how funny is that bee's bottom sticking out. Too much! ;-D

ReplyDeleteThe colors are so lush.
Keepin' the bees happy,
Candy
Yes we are keeping this a friendly poker game. Tam knew when to fold 'em and when to hold 'em.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poppies. For a minute, I thought this game was gonna get ugly...LOL. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! Fabulous poppies... and love the upper pic of the yellow one, with the little bee mooning us.
ReplyDeleteI'd raise you some poppies myself, but mine are shedding petals as quickly as they bloom so ... I am folding before I begin!
No Poppy Poker for me. I am not in the big leagues, Poppy-wise! Thanks for the giggles...
Cass
The poppies are so pretty. I just planted my first poppy last week. If it lives, I'll get more.
ReplyDeleteThe name of your blog is so funny.
I keep missing posts. Could you please call me when you post something? These poppies are beautiful. I didn't know you grew opium there.
ReplyDeleteI like the pregnant man too.
Lucy.
