I am going to snap today at some point. I can barely get my laptop to run. I am now downstairs on the old computer but alas have none of my information or photos on here, nor my email program. SNAP.
Blogger is behaving like an @$$ and I am getting very cranky.
I don't want to change every thing over to something else because I just redid my whole blog last week. Pat me on the back and say "there, there" cause I'm gonna cry.
Ah blogger...when it's good -it's good, but when it's bad..it's like the end of the world!
ReplyDeleteI must ask though..why are all your "m's" on your blog header description actually "w''s"? Or is that just my browser (safari) doing that?
there, there
ReplyDelete(and I see the "w"s, too)
Lori, It is so easy to use writer. You import your existing blog from blogger for your format and then just write your posts. easy peasy... It's not like you are re-doing anything! Everything just goes right into writer- you don't change a thing! Sue
ReplyDeleteListen to me! EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK. Did you get that?
ReplyDeleteI hope everything has sorted itself out Lucy. I haven't had any problems from here. Sometimes I have to compose my posts in html because of word alignment issues, but I have gotten used to it. Your blog looks great to me. Don't snap. I need you to prop me up.

Perhaps the laptop needs a good clearing out. Clear the caches, run a virus scan to see if there's anything chewing up the RAM and defragment it to finish off.

Thanks for the support gang.
ReplyDeleteI know my letter m looks like a w. Of course that wasn't apparrent until I had made up all my other little tags. I was too frustrated to go back and remake all my labels.
I have done all the suggested things. I am very frustrated but not willing to change things to something new until I know what the problem is in the first place because it may just carry on if the problem is in my template.
I'll keep trying.
Aww Lori - hopefully today is better for you. I hope you don't change your blog too much I love this look - really really love it!!
ReplyDeleteCould you have a computer virus? Yall Windows folks get those things & it seems to gnarl up the system.
ReplyDeleteLori
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry the gremlins are persistent but I want to thank you for putting me off changing to the new editor...
After having trouble in my early blog days I am now of the opinion that If it ain't broke don''t fix it...
What does Sue mean by 'writer'?
Happy days
Hey there Lori - sorry to be chiming in a day late! But it's taking me forever to catch up after being on vacation. I haven't been over to your blog "in person" so to speak in a little while...I like the new look!!! Sorry technology in general is giving you so much trouble. Have some wine....it will make things all better. I especially like that wine comes in those convenient SINGLE SERVING bottles!!!
ReplyDeleteMy computer did the same thing a couple of weeks ago - I did snap and went to the local Staples superstore and bought a 500gig external hard drive - it was on special so I got it for £40 (I don't know what that is is dollars) but it was cheap for the size of memory.
ReplyDeleteI took everything off my PC and Laptop including about 3500 photo's (no wonder it was slow) and now its great. If I want a photo I can just plug the USB into whichever machine I'm on and voila.
I also defragged and did a 'clean'.... Chin up it will be ok - and if it's not - chocolate and gin work for me LOL x
