I first posted this in April.
So how many of you out there have the exact same picture done on the exact same pony. Oh I know we live in different cities, even countries but I bet it looks like the same pony. Do you remember that day? I do. I was pretty sure my mother could never afford to buy the picture but I didn't care. I just wanted to sit on the pony. I wanted to feed it grass. I wanted to take him home to live in our backyard in the city. I remember my jacket was green.
I wanted the pony to be mine.
Awwww, that's so cute. It's not to late Lori. . . You too can have a pony : ))

ReplyDeleteHi Lori...
ReplyDeleteAhhh...Girlfriend, I love this photo of you and the pretty pony!!! What a cutie pie you are!!! Ohh yes...my Grandpa raised Shetland ponies...I loved going to their house and playing with the ponies! I hate to admit...I wasn't a very good rider and always...I mean always got bucked off! Hehe!
This is just so sweet, my friend! Thank you so much for participating in Sunday Favorites again this week! Girl, you're getting to be a "regular"! Hehe! Sure do appreciate you and your great posts!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Chari
It's cute -- and that same pony came to our house, too. I'm standing beside and my brother is astride.
ReplyDeleteOh Lori, you make one cute cowgirl!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
How come I never got my photo taken with the pony? I guess I'll have to ask my mom. Your photo is just too cute. I really do wish I had a photo like that. I'd kill the pony now if I had to sit on one. lol.
ReplyDeleteLove that photo! I always wanted a pony when I was growing up. I pretended to have one and would "gallop" around lol
ReplyDeleteI love this photo, and yes there is one of me and my sister too. Those were such fun times and what a thrill to sit on the pony. Great treasure. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteOh what a cute picture. the expression on your face is priceless!
ReplyDeleteI don't have one of those pictures because I grew up afraid of animals so would have had to be heavily drugged and tied up in rope to be put up on a pony. thankfully I overcame those fears . . . but no childhood pony rides for me!
And buy yourself a pony NOW. You'll be the most popular kid in the neighborhood.
Cass
Okay you guys I only have a suburban sized lot. I can't have a pony. And Cass what makes you think I am not already the most popular kid in the neighborhood. Mr. Rogers had nothing on me. As for the rope and the being drugged heavily I think it was the pony in these photos that fit that description.
ReplyDeleteI never had my picture taken on a pony - - - but you sure are cute on that one!
ReplyDeleteOhhh we had that pony for our birthdays (must find picture). We also used to go all the time -- ok maybe three or four to a stable in Burnaby with Shetland Ponies -- oh how I wanted one. I think Office Depot is now where the ponies used to be.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! What a cute photo! And, yes, I wanted a pony! Then my sister and I won a pony in a Labor Day drawing in our little town. Labor Day was HUGE there. Sadly, somebody must have decided that it was a good way to get rid of a mean and nasty pony...couldn't ride it, it bit, etc. :-( Soooo...our dream was crushed!! Oh, well! So I decided I'd just have cats! lol Happy week!...Debbie
ReplyDeleteI have a picture of my hub on that pony!
ReplyDeleteWhat IS it about girls and horses?
Weren't you cute!!
I remember the pony man and when he came around there were always several kids in the neighborhood that had their picture taken. I was always afraid to get on...yep I was a scaredy cat.
ReplyDeleteLucy- I think I told you the last time that you looked very cute on that creature and that I didn't like stinky ponies back when I was little. My mom made me ride one at a fair when I was about 5, and I pinched my nose shut with my fingers that whole time I was on him. I wonder why no one took pictures?
