Three or More Tuesdays is hosted by Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner. There are usually very interesting things going on there. Have a look and add your three or more to the list.
Two years ago we went to Mexico for a vacation. I decided to post about that for because as I look out the front window here there is a torrential downpour and on top of that I had to turn the furnace last night. Summer is gone for sure.
The food was plentiful and really quite good. Of course the fresh fruit spreads were amazing. Bananas taste completely different down there compared to the green branches we get in our grocery stores.
The only thing better than the food and service there were the margaritas that were flowing regularly. My BB guy would wander under the bridge to the swim up bar and come back with the slushy green concoctions for the group.
There now this has taken my mind off of the rain and cold.
Beautiful blue water and wonderful scenery! You are making me crave going back to the Caribbean again...Christine
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a cure for a cold rain :) I love the beach anywhere anytime :)
ReplyDeleteLori...it was 85 out here today...I had to run the AC in my car when I was out running errands! Still very much feels and looks like summer here. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your vacation pics...really looks like paradise. I know you must have had a fabulous time! :-)

Lori,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note about the link not working. Hopefully they will go to the top 'treasures' and get there that way.
I can't change it as Tam put that part in. =0(

This is what I need! Someone whisk me away to the far lounge chair on the right please! Thanks for a litle daydreaming adventure. :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! This is an early fall for us in Northern IL. I turned the heater on in our barn on Aug 30th, usually I turn it on the first week in Oct!

ReplyDeleteHey is that the IberoStar (can't remember the rest of the name) just north of Playa del Carmen??? Sure looks like it -- I was there in 2002.

The heat is on????...OOOH no..too soon for summer to leave..
ReplyDeleteStill nice here....great pics, looks like a nice vacation...haven't had one of those in 20 years!
Yes it was an Iberostar. I can't remember which one. Mayan Riviera. Lovely place.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Where in Mexico did you go? Must be east coast. I've only been to Tijuana, Rosarito Beach & Ensenada Mexico and they don't look anything like what you've pictured. I wish fall would arrive in southern California. It's still hot here. But today has been a little cooler, but it won't last for long. Enjoy you change of season. We only have two here, summer and winter. lol.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh, that looks heavenly!
