I am posting something rather different today. My BB (big burly for the new people) is in the towing equipment business. One of his customers has one of the biggest tow trucks in Canada and is often called upon to pull semi trailer wrecks out of the mountainsides of B.C. I am showing you a bit of the process here.
My Three Or More Tuesday is about all those boxes that come crashing out of the semi trailer and get scattered about the area. Way more than three here. Sometimes these have tumbled down cliffs and it can be an extremely dangerous recovery. This one is more steep than it looks. The insurance companies would like to salvage as much as possible of course. It is a dangerous job but someone has to do it.
I hope you enjoyed this change of pace from my usual style of post. You can click on the picture to enlarge it.

Oh my. Something you never think about. Who has to recover all those spilled goods!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible mess!
ReplyDeleteBut what an awesome truck!
Cool post!

Oh what an interesting and unique Three Or More post. I love that you put those pictures into a collage. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Tuesday,
Tam
That is quite a mess.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a mess! I hope they can salvage as much as they can...Christine
ReplyDeleteNow that is one big mess! One fantastically big mess! lol!
ReplyDeleteNow this is a post I won't soon forget.
I hope you have a fab day and thanks for stopping by my blog and saying "hi!".
That's one big tow truck. Makes you wonder if the semi driver was salvaged. Whew.
ReplyDeleteLori,
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by to see me, and for your comments about the clocks we have.
I laughed out loud when you asked "is it the clock or my husband who was vintage?".
I'll be sure to show him.
It is especially funny since i have listed him before on some various posts.
I'm going back to see more of your posts.
blessings.

oh - my DH would hate to be referred to as vintage.
ReplyDeleteOh holy mackerel! What a MESS, and what a nearly impossible thing to tackle. Whenever I've seen something like this in real life, I've always wondered, "Who the heck can fix this?" and now I know! It's Lori's husband!
ReplyDeleteWow... I am impressed. Terrified, looking at that steep incline, but impressed.
And I think you are right-- our ghosts needed us, so we had to end up here in That Old House. And I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has had dreams involving houses! We are normal, you and I, after all. Right???
:-)

I wonder if those little weeds that you are talking about are the ones known as flick weeds. They originated in New Zealand, at least that is what I was told. And they look like burgundy redish clover leaves. But when those yellow little flowers go to seed, look out. They are all over, in nursery stock, in perennials, in bedding plants. I have to be very vigilant when purchasing any new plant. Some nurseries are not very clean, and I don't want that in my garden.
