There are times when we all need to slow down, and really reflect on these types of messages. We are a blessed society, and most of us are too busy to realize that.
Wonderful encouragement...I was just thinking at the grocery store today that we really don't appreciate so many common everyday things and people....and we definitely don't let them know. ALWAYS much to rejoice over!
Let's see, I've hardly worked at all this year and Sister was laid off three months ago. Our home is going into foreclosure, but I always tell her that we are still much better off than a lot of other folks who have it much rougher than we do by far. I still have food in the cupboards, clothes on my back, a place to sleep, fresh water, and I still count my blessings everyday!
People just need to put things in perspective and your thoughts today should help them.
Thank you for your help yesterday with my button!!
I love the second photo on this beautiful slide show you shared with us. How true it is. One thing i've learned this year is to not take advantage of any day I am able to give a little of myself. No matter how small or large my efforts are, they are shared with someone I love.
Beautiful Lori! Thank you for sharing it. Hugs. Tammy
Thanks for sharing that Lori. It gives me goose bumps whenever I read it! Makes me very grateful for what I have! Hope you are having a good Wednesday and enjoy the rest of your week! Looks like we may be getting some snow eh? Take care Sherri : )
Cool Lori Cool....I am fasinated with the "Simpson" person on your blog and the quote...mmmmmmm is it a "like Lori" LOL LOL LOL ! I love the Simpsons - they are soooo wrong but sooooo funny. I am a dork I forgot to link up to Outdoor Wens....now I am like 100 - but it's o.k. my buddies come see me anyway - Don't you think some of these parties have sooooo many entries they are "OUT OF CONTROL" Now we have 20 below zero here...I hate to think what you have ....brrrrrrrr Kammy
OH...so nice for this time of year. Winter is my favorite time to hike with my dogs and they just love it too. It's so quite in the woods and every color is so vibrant and gorgeous!

But that was a long time ago, and it was just that one day. THE END.

You Talking To Me?
MAKE YOUR BLOG INTO A BOOK
Did you know you could make your blog into a hard or soft cover book? What a fabulous way to showcase your years of blogging. I love this product and gave one away in February for my 1 year blog anniversary. Have a look. I'll bet you will get one for yourself.
Please email me and I will send you a badge for your province to post on your site. You should link it back to me please so others can also get their badge. Not a Canadian? Maybe I can come up with something for you too.
A BOOK RECOMMENDATION
When I first started blogging I picked up a copy of this book. Shortly after that I lost my whole blog somewhere in cyberspace.
I recalled that one of the authors of this book lived not far from me. I looked up his number and the wonderful SHANE BIRLEY spent some time finding and then fixing my blog for me. I wrote about him HERE.
I highly recommend Shane's book. You will learn something no matter how long you have been blogging and if you are new to the blog world it will become a go-to resource for you.
Its Mine & You Can't Make Me
All pictures, thoughts, ramblings and rants on this site belong to me. If you would like to use any of them please contact me first for permission. If I am not cranky that day then things look good for you. If I am...well ask my kids.

This slide show is awesome, Lori. I barely looked at the photos because the words were so touching. And as Sue said, it puts things in perspective.
