So how many of you out there have the exact same picture done on the exact same pony. Oh I know we live in different cities, even countries but I bet it looks like the same pony. Do you remember that day? I do. I was pretty sure my mother could never afford to buy the picture but I didn't care. I just wanted to sit on the pony. I wanted to feed it grass. I wanted to take him home to live in our backyard in the city. I remember my jacket was green.
I wanted the pony to be mine.
Hi Lori! Great picture...makes me want a pony now! But really, we need another pooping animal like we need a hole in the head. I am in love with the new ducklings, but who knew how messy they are!!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I don't have that same picture. I wish I did, but I don't. You look wonderful, Lori. That photo is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe one picture I did have and that spawned all similar feelings of adoption and pet care, was taken whan I was 7 at the circus. I hated the circus, it scared me and made me feel sorry for the dancing animals. But that scruffy lion cub in my arms was a gem. The picture of me holding him and smiling is worth a thousand words. I have lost that photo. Damn!
Ciao
Barn House: Think of the garden. Poop is good
ReplyDeleteLola: Now a lion cub photo trumps a pony photo any day. How sad it is lost.
There is a photo of my Dad on that same pony floating around my familia....Cathy
ReplyDeleteI love this photo! And unfortunately I've never sat on a pony, I've never even seen a pony in real life!
ReplyDeleteThere was a guy that would come through the neighborhood with a pony and take pictures. I have a black and white of my dad on a pony and a color one of me on a pony...what happened to the pony guy? The pictures were such fun!
ReplyDeleteLiability insurance is what happened to the pony guy I would guess.
