Three Or More Tuesday eh? Well this is new to me so I will give it a try. I was introduced to this by a fabulous blog called The Gypsy's Corner. Make sure you have a look at her site by clicking on the name. Let her know you stopped by.
I chose these 3 gilded fruit pieces, an apple, pear and pomegranite. They have sat in the same spot on a shelf in front of an antique window that had the glass replaced with a mirror for a very long time. When something is there all the time I think you cease to see it anymore. That can be said for everything in life can't it.
I don't know why I didn't take the picture of them there now that I think about it. It never occured to me. They needed a good dusting when I took them down though.

Lori, these are very pretty! Thanks so much for sharing, and you're right about taking things for granted. I try to see things with new eyes, but sometimes we just forget to enjoy them for the beautiful things they are... that goes for all walks of life at times. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHappy Three or More Tuesday!
XO,
Sheila :-)
This was a good reminder for me--sometimes I get so caught up in things (like dust :)) that I forget to enjoy simply "what is".
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! Thanks for sharing them with us:)
ReplyDeleteHappy 3OMT!

I don't normally embellish with fruits, but those are very cute!
ReplyDeleteHi Lori! Isn't that the truth that we stop seeing things, I've got to make sure I don't stop seeing those people around me :0)
ReplyDeleteI like your gilded fruit! Happy 3 or more...
Welcome to the Tuesday treasure trove. So true is your comment about things being missed. Change is good and a little dust never hurt anything, Thank Goodness!
ReplyDeleteDust is a country accent, you know.
Enjoy your day, Candy
Lori, thanks for the phone numbers, I will give them a try. The cards seem to be working now, after trying to download them over and over. It
ReplyDeleteis interesting to hear that other people are having Photoshop Elements problems also.

Lori,
ReplyDeleteYour "threesome" is beautiful!! You will be surprised to find that when you start to photograph things for your blog that you will dust on a more regular basis! I am apalled at some of the details (gulp) that have shown up in my pictures!! And beware~they can be enlarged!! Hee hee! ;-)
Welcome to TOMT! Hope to see you again!
xoxo

Lori,
ReplyDeletewelcome to 'Three Or More - Tuesday' and thank you for participating!!!
Your 'threes' are great and you are so right how we tend to overlook items in our home because they have been displayed in the same spot for a long time. It's the exact reason why I love to move accessories around to arrange them into a fresh vignette.
I like those gilded fruits... lovely! And a little dust? Pish-posh, no problem. I think of dust as a protective coating on my fine antiques. :-)
