I have been part of a coffee group for several years now. They have become like family members. I can honestly say that not a day has gone by when we have met for coffee that we haven't laughed out loud about something. It truly is the best medicine.
We are rude and crude. We are sharp tongued and somewhat political. We are caring and kind to each other. We go on road trips to yummy places. We have a summer barbeque and a winter Chinese food dinner...Feb. 15th you guys, don't forget. We may also have the kiss of death when it comes to coffee shops closing down. We go to them for a while and then something happens and they close down. We are at Zen Berry now and the owner is quaking in his boots. Of course my BB (big, burly) was even more worried because Coffee Group thought we might have to meet at our house at 7:00 a.m. for coffee. That would not be a good thing.

As a member of the infamous coffee group , I can say that Lori is the filter that keeps all the coffee grounds together. KD

ReplyDeleteSome of us grounds are finer too LN
ReplyDeleteIt's the whole royalty thing again LN. Blue bloods and all that. Come on now, give us the wave. That's right, cup your hand just so, hold it beside your face and gently toggle it side to side. Not to much now that would be lowbrow.
