After all the snow and freezing temperatures we had this year I finally had to cave in and wash my car. It was so dirty I couldn't see out my back window. Didn't bother me so much but people were getting tired of jumping out of the way when I backed out of my driveway.
I swear that every wheel ever made was designed by a man who has no idea of how hard it will be to clean those crevices.
It was especially fun this time to use the hose because the eldest son left the hose in the driveway last week and I drove over the end flattening it so I couldn't put the spray nozzle on. Good thing we are not on a metered water system. Of course if my back window had been clean at the time I would have seen the hose. I ended up wet to my knees and those who know me know that is not very high. But it is still cold.
So yes I washed and rinsed and scrubbed until my knuckles were sore and my nails were destroyed. I pulled my now beautiful car into the garage, got out and walked around to go into the house. Of course there is a big spot I missed on the passenger side. No worries. I used eldest son's sock to wipe it clean.
By the way...I put the hose away when I was done.
Hi Lori, I thought I would try again. I just want you to know we sure have a lot in common. I refuse to wash the car. I really think it is against everything I believe in. But, I did discover a car wash I could bring it too. That brings me to the second thing we have in common, I am closterphobic and cannto go in carwashes, but I did it. So I think I just conquered too fears. Anyway hope this works.
ReplyDeleteIt worked, wow. Please excuse the spelling mistakes. I sometimes type too fast. lol
ReplyDeleteThe only way I could get it to wotk is by using anonymous. Oh well
I think I could guess who this is. Even though it is anonymous you can certainly leave your initials.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking A.L.
