FOODIE FRIDAY - VINTAGE ADS

I am joining in with the Foodie Friday crowd over at Designs by Gollum . Of course I haven't been cooking much of anything lately. At least not anything worth photographing. Lets go back in time to when men were men and women were....house slaves. Just kidding. Just poking fun. C'mon where's that sense of humor.

Make sure you visit the others and check out that gorgeous cake on Micheal's site. Don't forget to leave a comment too.

Neat old ads from when I was just a kiddo! I think my grandmother used Chase and Sanborn. I couldn't believe coffee was made any other way than in a percolator. LOL

Great ad's, and it is a good thing that we can poke fun at the fifties. Oh those glorious fifties.

I can still sing some of the old TV commercials: Brylcream, Sealy Mattresses.

These ads remind me of happy times. My mother worked but still managed to be June Cleaverish. She made it look so easy. And it's anything but! Thanks for the email!!
