I came home to this beautiful bouquet on Wednesday. They were from my dear friend Maryanne. Thank you Maryanne.
They came from a floral department not far from where I live. What a nice surprise. Of course I had to phone and thank Maryanne for the flowers.
She wasn’t home so I left a message with her husband saying how nice they were and thank you very, very much. Maryanne lives close to me and to this floral department.
I then had to return some phone calls that had come in. I called my other friend Maryanne who had called me earlier that week.
The first thing she asked me was if I got the flowers she had sent me……Did I mention this was my OTHER MARYANNE FRIEND?
Doh!!!! Had to call Maryanne’s husband back and tell him the whole thank you thing was off and he could just say hi to his Maryanne for me. Forget the whole flower thingy.
Both of these Maryannes also brought me flowers in early October when they were both here for Thanksgiving dinner. No wonder I am so confused. Yes! That is why. Sigh.
Oops, funny mistake but beautiful flowers! You may have to suggest that both of your friends coordinate when they are sending you flowers at the same time - no confusion then, and lots of flowers for you - aren't I clever! Diane
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful....
ReplyDeleteI understand your confusion about the "Maryanne" floral delivery. What a mix up....and what are the odds that "Maryanne" was the other "Maryanne"... My head is spinning just thinkin' about it!! :)))
They are beautiful....and Maryanne (both) of them is a treasured friend.
Smiles and hugs,
Jackie
Pretty flowers no matter which Maryanne they came from. I have two male cousins who both married girls named Anne Marie. Not only do the girls have the same first names, they have the same last names. We call them Tom's Anne Marie and Chris' Anne Marie.
ReplyDeleteThat's funny, well at least both Maryanne's got thanked.
ReplyDeleteWe have 3 Jen's at work, last names ending with B, V, and E....
Yep Jen B, Jen V Jen E, now that's fun, especially when they page two at a time....

I want flowers!
ReplyDeleteWell, no matter which Maryanne, they're beautiful and you are loved by your friends! What could be better that?
ReplyDeleteRegardless of where they came from, they're beautiful--and what a wonderful surprise!!
ReplyDeleteI got flowers delivered once and the card said "Happy Birthday love from your sister and niece". I promptly send a long, loving thank you so much voice mail to my sister and her daughter. A few days later I got a rather "cool" (as in cold shoulder cool) phone call from my sister in law (who also has one child...a daughter...our niece)....and wondered if I had received my Birthday flowers from them. Oops. PS your photos of the flowers are amazing!
