Two of my favorite days of the week are Mosaic Monday and Outdoor Wednesday. They are perfect for each other. I am joining in with Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday and with Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for Outdoor Wednesday.
Both of these memes are so popular and you will struggle to find the time to visit even one quarter of the participants. I am glad you visited me.
These photos are all from my garden today, April 11th, 2010. It has warm and sunny and I love it.
From left to right we have a rhododendron, corydalis, forget me not, red tulip, purple tulip, white tulip, muscari, snow in summer,

Wowww! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHey Lori! Your flowers are ahead of mine : )) I have the azalea and the forget-me-nots and lungwort but thats it. Maybe tomorrow I'll get another surprise from out there. Your mosaic is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Are those Euonymus actually Euphorbia?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful !!!
ReplyDeleteLori it looks like you have wonderful, colorful gardens. You presented very pretty Mosaics!~ Happy MOnday to you!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. I'm still waiting for things to bloom so this is fun to see what is yet to come in my yard.
ReplyDeleteI love the red tulip! Vibrant. I really want a gardenia bush but I don't think we have an ideal place for one to thrive. :-( I usually stick to wave petunias b/c they are easy and I'm normally a plant killer.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that you get your identifications correct. That way you learn and can teach others. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog somehow and am pleased I did. You certainly have pretty flowers in your garden. We have too many tall pine trees, shade, clay and rocks everywhere. I also enjoyed the trip to Vancouver Island. We have been there three times and would love to go back.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori,
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice mix of blossoms you've grown! I'm an avid gardener, as well, but with a bit more tropical plants. Thanks for the garden tour - lovely!
Amanda
Too pretty for words!
ReplyDeleteNice, You must have a wonderful garden. How can I do mosaic pictures. any web site?
ReplyDeleteGlad you appreciated my correction, and didn't take offense. The photos really are so beautiful!! Thanks for the link!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness your gardens are bursting with color! Love the first mosaic, all the purple with the calm, bluish, gray center is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMichelle, the first mosaic is the one from Mary for her meme of Mosaic Monday not mine.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful flowers. Thanks for sharing. Dropping by from Outdoor Wednesday.

Very impressive garden - must take a lot of work. Something to be very proud of. Happy Outdoor Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteLori-Our weather is not nearly that far along! You have some beautiful flowers--love the way you photographed the tulip. Great angle! I am not familiar with euphorbia, but it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers..you are so far a head. We don't get rhodies blooming for another month. I see your peony sprouts! I just bought a new one..I love them!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos! Love the variety of flowers and colors!

Ah ... absolutely BEAUTIFUL ;-
ReplyDeleteI love these two memes on Mondays and Wednesdays (and Today's Flowers on Sundays too) because of all the lovely flowers people photograph and share. I've not had much time for blog visits of late so I'm doing what I can today to catch up using my 'reader' ... clicking over when something grabs my attention (as with your Double Dare and Feeling Old posts) but commenting only when I have something to say. Your rhododendron blossoms remind me of azalea blooms ... but larger. I wonder how they'd do in my yard and may check them out the next time I visit the nursery.
Hugs and blessings,
