Just a short post showing what I did with the Andouille sausage I bought from Lepp Farm Market. Sizzled this up quickly in a pan and served it over some pasta with a bit of a tomato based sauce. Fast, easy and delicious.
The sausage had a bit of a bite to it with a lovely smokey paprika flavour. I can't wait to get more.

This looks delicious! I love all sorts of sausage and when I was a bit more ambitious, thought of getting the sausage attachment for my KitchenAid mixer. How fun would that be?
ReplyDeleteI am glad to hear you are reaping the rewards from your trip to Lepps!

Oh my mouth is watering.
ReplyDeleteWe went out for dinner last week, and someone was noticing that those sausages were on the menu. And here is a post about them from you. Serendipity? Ha, no it is meant to be. I am going to get some.

What are the yellow things? peppers? yellow tomatoes? looks really good...
ReplyDeleteI should have said that the yellow bits are peppers. For once I didn't use garlic wanting to let the flavour of the sausage shine to see how we liked it...and we really did like it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good! I love the name of your blog... are we related? lol
ReplyDeleteYum....
ReplyDeleteLooks good. We like andouille..and chorizo too!
ReplyDeleteOh brother, I'm drooling right now. I adore a good andouille. It tears DH up (acid reflux), so I just have to get it when we go out. Your dinner looks delicious! Kathy
ReplyDeleteSuper YUM!!!! Great blog name!
ReplyDeleteThat looks delicious! I'll bet your sausage from Lepp Farm was wonderful. Wish we had a store like that here!
ReplyDeleteI would to try that! I am afraid that I am like a previous poster and I get heartburn if I eat too many spicy things these days! Looks divine though!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
