So often we hear the bad news about teens. The drinking games posted on YouTube that are killing teens.
The stupid, risky behaviour, the nasty music, drugs, parties, vandalism, fighting.
Well
here in B.C. I am thrilled to share a video of some Kelowna teens who
decided a different kind of teen challenge should be on YouTube.
These young men went out grocery shopping and made up care packages to give to the homeless in their area.
They said why not do something that down the road you can be proud of on internet instead of ashamed.
You guys are awesome. Keep up the challenges. Let’s see if this can be a trending topic on the internet.
That is the kind of good news one likes to see on Monday morning. Just starts things off right. :) Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis was on the news last night, and I am so proud of those guys for making a great choice to do some good, instead of perpetuating a terrible game with many tragic outcomes.
ReplyDeleteYes, let's keep this going.

Awesome guys . I find it's all down to the parents who spend no time with or in their kids lives have no interest in them , no routines , no rules and are to caught up in their own lives . I am just glad that some teens out there have good heads on their shoulders despite the rotten parenting . I hope this video shows there still is hope out there for good kids . Thanks for sharing . Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful group of young men - they'll go far - and I don't mean financially - they are the inspiration that will lead to more kindness and goodness. Way to go boys!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome and I wish there was more of that kind of thing going on.
ReplyDeleteMy son went to Alabama 3 years ago and helped to rebuild houses. I was so proud of him for that.
YES!!! This is the kind of news we need to hear more often! There ARE still lots of good people in the world... Well done, guys!!
