I had a dream last night that I slept in and was really late for work.
This would be really bad because I have to present an audit to the CEO this morning. My first.
When I woke up I flipped over in a hurry to see it was 5:10 am and I still had a couple hours before work.
Ooops, gotta run now or I really will be late.
See ya later.
Good luck with the presentation!!

Hope the presentation went well!
ReplyDeleteI find dreams fascinating. There is always some meaning behind them. Good luck with your presentation!...and sweet dreams tonight!
ReplyDeleteAh but if you dreamed that you were late and naked, well then you might be in a real tizzy..
ReplyDeleteBest of luck today.

Guess you had something on your mind:@)
ReplyDeleteHope your presentation went well - I am always nervous when I CAN'T be late to something - I wake myself up a dozen times a night just to make sure I don't oversleep!
ReplyDeleteHope the audit went well and you didn't oversleep.
ReplyDeleteLast week, I was under a lot of personal stress. One night I fell asleep early (the next day I needed to work a seminar for my company @ 7). I woke up, looked at my clock and it said 9:30! @!$#^! I jumped out of bed and was running all over the house in a tizzy...until my son asked me what was wrong and I said I'm late! He started laughing and said Mom, it's 9:30 at night. Whew!
Oh don't you hate dreams like that ! I've had similar experiences when there were important events that COULDN'T be missed, and everything in the dream conspired to keep you from getting there - you wake up in a sweat with a pounding heart. As long as you can fall back asleep with a smile on your face, everything usually turns out all right.
ReplyDeleteHope the presentation went well.
I have those dreams too before an important event. Mine was showing up wearing flip-flops, without pants or curlers stuck in hair. Our subconscious is a mischievous bugger. Hope the presentation with your CEO went well.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first chance to stop by since I've been sick with stomach flu all week. Take care.
The more anxiety-ridden the coming day is the more anxiety-ridden the dream is. Supply and demand, if you will.
