I had a 4 day weekend and my BB Guy and I were heading out of town.
He was meeting a customer on Friday afternoon so we started out heading in that direction.
That night found us in Penticton, British Columbia and in the middle of an Elvis Impersonator contest and a huge car show.
We had noticed many hot rods on the way up there and now we had found the mother load.
Here is just a small sampling of what was cruising by. Go and get the men folk and a paper towel to mop up the drool. These are some amazing rides.
I hope you get all the drool off the computer screen and that the guys are not driving you nuts going “please, please, please, please can I get one. I’ll take care of it and clean it and polish it, honest I will”.
How neat! The cars all look great! What??? No Elvis shots? :@)
ReplyDeleteLove to look at these old cars! My favorite is the Camaro. Dated a guy in high school who had a car similar to the 4th from the bottom. Boy, was it loud!
ReplyDeleteWe have something like that here called "Cool April Nights"
ReplyDeleteI stay far away from it!
Great pics, my son loves car shows. He's really into vintage vehicles, me I like new shiny SUV's! Diane
ReplyDeleteHeyyyyy now.. why just gents? I'd totally get one! If it wasnt almost half the way across the globe -.- *sigh* lol
ReplyDeleteHugs,
My husband is a total 'puter geek and doesn't appreciate cars. However I sure do! Dang, some real beauties there Lori! They don't 'em like they used either.
ReplyDeleteYes, I thought Elvis was in the building. Hey those cars are not only for men. Wish I was nearby with a camera...
ReplyDeleteJen @ Muddy Boot Dreams
Those cars are amazing.
ReplyDeleteYup - just cleaned off the keyboard and all I can stammer is WOW ! Great shots of gorgeous machines !!
ReplyDeleteI've tried the "please, please, please" with my wife to no avail. ;-)
GREAT photos!!! We have a quilt and classic car show here in Ladner every August and it grows every year. I love to see the cars and the creative detailing, pinstriping and body work. I'm a sucker for a Woody Wagon with a surfboard ;)
