I like to make hot pepper jelly every year. You know the kind you serve on a cracker with some cream cheese. It looks like a jewel. For a printable recipe click here.
I added a small amount of food coloring to get the nice green color.
Very pretty with the light shining through the jars. Did you add food colouring? I'm just thinking that the green is not the green of cooked peppers. And if I'm wrong, well then I'm going to have to make some green pepper jelly:) I do a 'mild' red pepper jelly (it has a bit of chili powder in it) I like having it with meat or to add a bit of a tang to a bland dish, and of course I sell it at the farmers markets:)
Very pretty, I didn't make any this year. You know it's a bad year when the hot pepper plants aren't even producing!

Hi Lori,
ReplyDeleteDo you ship? Looks yummy.
Good for you. Looks like my idea of hell. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI made some one year and ended up eating it myself that kids just made faces at me across the table. LOL Your jars are pretty.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful!!!! I'd make some if I thought my husband's stomach could handle it... I know he'd be all over it. =)
