There was still some snow around at the higher elevations.
They don't always go where there are roads.
And even when they do it is not always clear sailing.
There are some lovely places to stay along the way.
Some of the locals are friendly. No, no dear. Don't lick the frog. This is not the 60's anymore.
Others.....not so much.
And the answer to that age old question...Yes a bear does sh*t in the woods!!
What beautiful country and equally beautiful inhabitants.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, oh wow, OH WOW!!! That is some gorgeous "outback."
ReplyDeleteRemind me again - - - what does "BB guy" stand for?
Bodacious Bad?
Blatantly Bald?
Beastly Boorish?
What Keetha said...Bears, yikes!
ReplyDeleteIt is some purty country up there. Keetha, BB Guy is my Big Burly Guy. Kind of looks like that bear. The front end though, not the back end.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really manly week for manly men! (Beautiful scenery too!)
ReplyDeleteBWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (Over your comment on my blog!) "You know when to sit and absorb things." I laughed so hard I even made Grizzly come and ask me what was up!
ReplyDeleteLoved the photos and the hangin' out. Wish it was me. I'm a mountain girl at heart who is stuck on the flatlands. I met my husband while I was camping alone. Good times!
Great photos and looks like a lot of fun.......:-) Hugs
ReplyDelete"Up country". I haven't heard that term since I landed here in England. Great photos.
