You just need to follow the yellow footprints on the sidewalks to be led down the totem path.
I didn't take pictures of the descriptions as I went along figuring I would find the information on each one on the internet. FAIL! I have searched for a week and finally have come up with a few of them.

Glad you came along on my totem tour even though it only showed a small sample of them.
I may have to check out Duncan before we head back home to Ontario....we have been in BC for a year now and have seen a lot of the Province. We are in Kamloops and looking to spend a weekend this month in Vancouver to see some of the sites.
ReplyDeleteWe did get to spent a day in the outskirts of Vancouver one day this past winter, but I was in a hurry to get home due to bad weather. But I did get to see the skyline, it was awesome...reminded me of Toronto, however Toronto does not have the beauty of the surrounding mountains like Vancouver.

Lori, these are beautiful carvings. I must say the the Wildwomen totem reminds me of when I had PMS, though.
ReplyDeleteI have no memory whatsoever anymore, so I take shots of the guide makers for reference every time I see one...I delete A LOT, but it works, of course. Interesting carvings...I really need to plan a trip north as I've never really been to Canada (it's closer than Florida and I've been there a million times!). All you Bloggers of the North write about such interesting things I've never seen!!
