Do yourself a favor. Go get a mammogram.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month so get out there and be aware.
Please share this picture on your blogs, your Facebook pages, on Twitter and any other social media that you use. You could save a life. Maybe even your own!!!
Go with a friend or a family member. Make it a date. Go out for lunch after and celebrate that you did it. Support the many awareness and research campaigns that take place in your area.
But most importantly…
GO GET THOSE MAMMIES GRAMMED
Got my referral for a mammogram last month. Will call to schedule - thanks for your reminder.
ReplyDeleteThis is a reminder that is very close to my heart, sadly...
ReplyDeleteMy Mom thankfully did get her's grammed, and two years ago they found a lump, she had the operation. And was one of the first women to qualify for the new process of using radioactive beads instead of radiation, which is much more invasive. Sure she was radioactive for awhile...we couldn't hug her, she set off the beepers, but it worked.
And for that we are thankful.
She was going to miss her appointment, and go 6 months later...I"m so glad that she did go after all. Because they caught it so early.
So ladies, get those Mammies, Grammed, you just never know.
Jen
Just had mine and had good results! It's peace of mind to know that you've had it done. Great shout out for a wonderful cause!
