I enjoyed the slide show! The autumn colors and then the snow scenes were all magnificent! Is that the train that goes through the Canadian Rockies? I hope to take a ride on thta one day.
Someday I hope to do your writers challenge ...I'm not the best writer so it would help me practice. Thanks! ~Pat
LV: yes you have commented before but it was good to hear from you again. Tammy: I agree those trees are so spectacular. Pat: It could be the one through the Rockies. You had better start saving you pennies to go on that trip because from what I hear it is mega $$$$ Jen: You know I am on it.
So I am still waiting for a new commentor??? I know you are out there.
Holly Cow if I show the train photos to my little GS today he will go nuts and make me look at them over and over which will be easy to do as they are so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I need some color here in the south but I think we need to drive to the mountains to get some amazing Fall color. Joyce
Hi Lori Beautiful pictures! I just love snow and trains together!! Westham Island is just past Ladner. If you take the Ladner Trunk road through Ladner it eventually turns into River Road. You go about 2 miles down River Road and there will be a big sign that says Pumpkins or Westham Island Bridge. Its like a single lane draw bridge. Go over the bridge and on the right hand side about half a mile is the Herb Farm. If you continue on down the Island there is also The Reifel Bird Sanctuary. It's a beautiful place to take a walk on a nice day! Hope you are having a great week : ) Sherri
Oh Lori those are beautiful photos, I especially just love those cute birds, just adorable and so sweet. I love little birds. Thanks for sharing your photos!
Hi Lori I have posted before...but I have to tell you how much I loved the slide show. I especially loved the photo of the cardinals. They're my favorite, non-wading birds. Thank you for giving my Florida eyes a glimpse of fall and winter beauty. Gratefully, Jane (artfully graced)

You Talking To Me?
MAKE YOUR BLOG INTO A BOOK
Did you know you could make your blog into a hard or soft cover book? What a fabulous way to showcase your years of blogging. I love this product and gave one away in February for my 1 year blog anniversary. Have a look. I'll bet you will get one for yourself.
Please email me and I will send you a badge for your province to post on your site. You should link it back to me please so others can also get their badge. Not a Canadian? Maybe I can come up with something for you too.
A BOOK RECOMMENDATION
When I first started blogging I picked up a copy of this book. Shortly after that I lost my whole blog somewhere in cyberspace.
I recalled that one of the authors of this book lived not far from me. I looked up his number and the wonderful SHANE BIRLEY spent some time finding and then fixing my blog for me. I wrote about him HERE.
I highly recommend Shane's book. You will learn something no matter how long you have been blogging and if you are new to the blog world it will become a go-to resource for you.
Its Mine & You Can't Make Me
All pictures, thoughts, ramblings and rants on this site belong to me. If you would like to use any of them please contact me first for permission. If I am not cranky that day then things look good for you. If I am...well ask my kids.

I am not sure if I have ever commented before or not. I do so many that I tend to forget. Regardless, your fall picture with the train is amazing.
#15... gorgeous... they all are but that is my favorite hands down. Hugs. Tammy
Hey, Lori, you know everything......well most everything.
Do you know how to make a small badge for us Canadian Bloggers. One that is easy for us non techies to put on our blog?
I love seeing other Canadian bloggers, and this would be a quick connection way to do it. Maybe we could even have it divided into provinces.
Canadian Blogger, BC blogger or Canadian Blogger, Alberta blogger. you know, that kind of thing.
Let me know if this is a possibility.
Jen A Canadian Blogger, from BC LOL.
