I came across something new, to me anyway, today.
Right outside piled up on a shelf away from the usual fall pumpkins at my grocery store I saw pink pumpkins.
Yup you heard me right. PINK! They are not painted they grow that way. They look antique, whitewashed almost.
I challenge you to find some and use them decoratively in your home and link the post here.
If you can't find pink you can still join in with your pumpkin displays of any color.

I will leave this meme running until December 1st. because the US has Thanksgiving in November whereas Canada has theirs in October.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with. I sure hope you can find some in your area. Have a look here to see what is available in your neighborhood.

I'll keep an eye out for one! OOOO that reminds me of a naughty joke. Not the pumpkin--the eye out.
ReplyDeleteCool pumpkin! I haven't seen any this year yet, but did a couple years ago. Have fun with it:@)
ReplyDeleteWow! It's gorgeous! I sincerely doubt I will find a pink pumpkin here, we are hard pressed to find the white ones. I hope I do though!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Wicked pumpkin!!! Im going to look for some and Ill link them back to you if I do for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Oh I want one, where on earth do they grow those?
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one yet.
Better tell my sister, they grow pumpkins on their farm.

I'll try to find some!
ReplyDeleteThink I'll pass on this one. Pink pumpkins? That just ain't natural!
ReplyDeleteI was out pumpkin shopping twice last week and never saw a pink one at either place, Lori. Maybe it's a freak of nature in Canada! LOL I'll check for them again when I look for some more gray ones on Thursday. Who knows? I may have good news for you.... :-)
ReplyDeleteNope, never saw a pink pumpkin. Very interesting!
ReplyDeletePerfect for Oct. and Pink Ribbon fund raisers.
I've yet to see one of these, but they will eventually show up in our markets - probably years from now. Ah, well. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteLucy- ok, what everyone is calling pink is really peach! LOL I DID see some of these last week while at a farm buying my white and gray pumpkins. I'll have to run back out and get one to post. In the meantime, I'm linking my fabric ones in my kitchen tablescape post. ~ Ethel
ReplyDeleteHi, Well, no I have not seen a pink pumpkin . . . I am just starting to get use to the white ones. I will be keeping an eye out for them, just to see what's new.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and read a few of your posts . . . I'm still laughing about the sticky note with the Joan Crawford make-up notice. How funny is that. I've always been a fan of less is more. A couple times I have gone in and let a make-up sales person give me a make-over . . . just to run home and wash my face. I guess I'm just a simple gal . . . always have been so why change when your 67, right.
