NOTHING WRONG WITH MY MEMORY
So I see a man today and I recognize him from somewhere....I can't figure out where from and then I see his name and my memory twigs....Mr. Ellis, teacher at David Thompson up until 1995.
It wasn’t like we were close or anything. There was no bond or memorable moments. I just remembered his face enough to connect it to his profession.

Well, I certainly have the same experiences these days as I age though my 60's. I think these blogs we write will be our memory as we get older and forget those things that happened in recent times.
Haha! If I were him, at that age, I'd just be grateful that I was still recognizable as myself from the 70's! :o)
I'm the same as you though - I can remember things from 15 years ago much better than I can what I did last year. Funny how some things stick with you more than others do.
That's funny, poor guy, he probably gets all sorts of people telling him they know him, and he is like? ?????
Hey that's me. I am still running into people that "knew" me years ago, and I have no idea who they are.
Blasts, from the past.
Jen @ Muddy Boot Dreams
As a retired teacher of 5th and 6th grade students, I can so identify. the most recent case was when I walked into a restaurant and a girl behind the bar asked me if I was a teacher. Happens a lot. Unfortunately, I haven't changed a lot -- they've changed A LOT!!!
Oh I'd love to see one of my teachers again! :) I feel for the guy though! ;)
Strange how faces are so recognizable. What is really surprising is the connection to " The Where! ". That is my biggest challenge when I see someone from years past. . .. Name? - Where ? - When ?. . .. so I ask. :)
As long as you're not on the receiving end of that "hey, I remember you back when...", it's all good!
