We have fallen right back into the old days when we were back yard neighbors and have been laughing non-stop since.
Tonight we will go the the birthday party which is within walking distance luckily.
We will have 4 overnight guests. Breakfast should be interesting.
Here is what I put together for the Birthday Girl who has a fondness for Tequila.
Take a Margarita glass that is about a foot and a half tall.
Add in a cocktail shaker that is a foot tall.
Put in a bottle of Patron Tequila Silver. Do you see that card? It is a Muddy Boot Dreams art card. Check out her new line of marble tiles with her images on them.
Fill giant glass with limes.
Find a sturdy base. I lucked out with a tomato box.
Wrapped it in tissue along with the bottle and shaker.
Ooops didn't wrap the bottle yet but I will.
Trust me it looks prettier than the picture shows. Total height is about 3 feet tall.
Well it will be time to leave soon. Looking forward to a great evening with great friends. What more can we ask for.
What a great idea! Have fun.....
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time! Don't slip on the ice. :)
ReplyDeleteI have the feeling that Blogger ate my last comment. So here we go again.
ReplyDeleteYou had me at Tequila! And I must be sure to mention to certain family members that this would be the perfect gift.
Thanks for the link, and the shout out about my cards, and art tiles. You are too sweet.
As for the Home Depot comment, you cheeky girl, but could you imagine ..... all those perfect kitchens, and bathrooms to choose from, giggle.

The Birthday Girl must have loved your gift, Lori!! It's always nice to be "taste specific." LOL Hope you all had a fun time.

ReplyDeleteOh Lori I will have to remember this one..But most of my friends being in their 60's & 70's don't drink much any more..Hey even I at my age gave up men and money lol!! Hugs and smiles Gloria
ReplyDeleteIt surely sounds like a great party! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll have a great party!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so pretty! You always make things look so nice. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful gift you put together! I bet she loved it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Have a great time away....we frequently book last minute...as a matter of fact, we booked our room for Sunday night about 20 minutes before we arrived at the hotel! That would drive a lot of people CRAZY...but it works for us...and apparently for you as well! Have fun!
