She started walking in France and will end up in Spain.
Although she is on this trip alone she really isn't because of her support from her loved ones back home and the fact that there are many others on this walk.
There is quite a bit of history on Walking the Camino but I won't tell the story here as it is her story not mine.
I just want to suggest you stop by her blog and give her some words of encouragement on this important trip.
Come read along about her journey. http://lindagummer.blogspot.ca/
Thanks for the link to the blog. I've walked a few miles of the camino a few times when we visit my husband's family in Spain. His Dad is from Burgos, which is right on the camino. If you saw the movie "The Way" Burgos is the city with the gypsies in the movie. I've followed a few blogs of people who have walked the camino, and it makes me wish I could do the whole thing. I should have done it years ago, because now I'm too old to even think about all those miles!
ReplyDeleteShe is amazing...what a journey.
ReplyDeleteI left her a comment on Google + because she has the dreaded word verification on her blog.
