I spent some time this past week organizing a getaway for our 30th. anniversary. I know, I know but I was married at age 10.
My BB Guy usually does all the organizing for things like this but this time I decided I would do it.
It will be a surprise for him though he knows I am organizing something. That will drive him crazy…and I like that….don’t judge…lol.
Now this big milestone will not be here until the end of July but I like to be ready. Places are very busy in the summer. Good thing I am flexible because I have had to change the plans twice.
We are spending 2 nights in one place and a third night somewhere else. I have booked dinner for one night at a restaurant that he likes.
I can’t tell you any details though because he reads my blog sometimes.
I am excited like a little kid waiting for Santa. I am giddy and I have to wait 5 months to pull it off. Squeallllll!!!!
My son tells me I will never be able to keep the secret to myself. That is why I am telling you guys about it. It is to keep from exploding like a volcano.
Whew…thanks for the release. I will make it for at least a couple of weeks before I have to tell someone else to vent my excitement.
I'm excited for you! I can't wait to hear the details in July! 30 years with the same guy, you are incredibly luck or you must work really hard on keeping it all good.
ReplyDeleteOh Lori, I feel your pain, LOL. Keeping secrets is hard, but you can do it. What a great surprise this is going to be for him.
ReplyDeleteHappy future Anniversary.

We just celebrated our 25th! I know...I was just a kid when we got married, too!
ReplyDeleteI love planning trips. I usually tell the hubs where I want to go and then he picks out places to stay for my approval. It is SO nice to get away! You are going to have a ball! Hubs rarely reads my blog...I guess that shows how much interest he has in my life! lol!
XO,
Jane

Well Happy Anniversary in advance! Our 9th is the 29th of this month and it will be nothing short of a miracle if we even manage to get out the door for night out, let alone a few days away. LOL!
