APOLOGY ACCEPTED

apology

I was waiting until I had a chance to get back to the store before I posted the outcome but time has gotten away from me and I haven’t been able to  go in.

I finally spoke with the manager of the store. Don’t know what I am talking about??? Click here to read the story….we will wait for you.

He was very apologetic to say the least. He expressed his dismay that the staff member never came to him to advise him of her ignorant words knowing full well there could be repercussions.

He said they are appreciative of the many years I have been shopping with them.

He asked me when I could come in again as he has a gift card for me. I was going to wait until I had picked it up before posting this but I just haven’t been back to the store recently to get it.

The amount really doesn’t matter (okay 10.00 would be kind of insulting too)but the fact that this staff person would be dealt with is the outcome that I wanted. Fired? No I don’t want that at all. But I do hope she was very embarrassed by her actions and that she will never, ever say something so stupid again, to a customer or anyone else.

  3. I went back and read your post as I missed it. You are totally right for being angered over what the lady was insinuating. I think the manager handled it fairly. Our chains are so big, sometimes I think it would be difficult to get that sort of response. Good for you for making them aware of the situation. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

  5. I am glad you will get your MOJO back. . . Maybe the card will be for a few free snacks from the deli counter with a Zero price tag so you can order and eat your mojo's as you wonder the aisles and when done, that staff member will pick it up and place it in the garbage for you :D

  6. I was thinking of your experience the other day as I walked by the magazines at Thrifty's and saw that someone had left an open bag (half eaten)of cashews on top of the rack. I guess they munched away as they read the magazines, leaving their greasy finger prints all over the pages, no doubt! These are the people the staff need to watch for and speak to them when it happens. What good are all those cameras if they don't take action?? Glad to hear you were treated right and the staff member was made aware of her stupidity!
