THREE OR MORE TUESDAY RETRO FOOD ADS

Joining in with Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner to participate with 3 or more Tuesdays. She also has a great giveaway going on over there.

Now lets have some dinner 50's style.
Velveeta Cheese and I use the word cheese loosely.
Pork and beans apparently make your child into one of the Children of the Corn.

I know dreaming of peas signifies a deep hatred
of my mother during my potty training.

Okay I have to admit I would eat this.
Except for the catsup which is what they are selling.

Now this is more like it. Oh crap never mind.
I thought that was beer.

Everyone hated going to Martha's house because she really knew
how to make the women feel that she was way more creative than them
and the men just felt uncomfortable.
Quite frankly this child scares me. I don't think she is looking
at the bread. I think she is going to eat her mother starting
at the wrist.

  7. Wow, I'm wondering just how we looked at those ads when they were current! Did they seem at all strange -- as the do to us now?

  8. OMGoodness. This is hysterical-slash-scary.
I LOVE your comments. If I don't have nightmares about the demented kids I'll be haunted by the weiners for sure.
