LOOK AT WHAT I WON AT ESSENTIAL PACKAGING

As you guys know I won a prize at another blog called The Essential Packaging Store Blog. So today was the day I was going to the store to pick up my prize. First of all I was going to travel across our brand new bridge that only opened up to traffic yesterday. Click here to see it. Wow. This has turned a drive that would normally take 50+ minutes, way longer coming back, into about a 12 minute drive. That was without speeding because the radio stations were warning about the radar traps at both ends of the bridge. This is especially important to me because the archives I do research at is over there. Hooray.
The best part of this trip today was meeting up with a fellow blogger that lives out that way. Jen from Muddy Boot Dreams also won a prize and we decided to meet at the store and then go for a coffee. What a delightful and talented lady she is. We visited for a while and shared notes on our blogging experiences and dreams. She is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She also gave me a gift of some of her greeting cards. To see the ones she gave me click here. They are the blue hydrangea #376. Of course all her work is copyrighted. They are really a wonderful gift.

Now here is what I have won: Two really pretty gift bags, two packs of tissue, two spools of coordinating ribbons, a pretty green polka dot bow, the cutest little gift box with a fluffy feather bow and to top it all with a cherry I also received a $20.00 gift card. You will note that it is not in the picture because of course I spent it immediately in the store. I have to do two birthday gift baskets for this weekend so it came in very handy.
Remember to click on the pictures to enlarge them.

I could wander around here for a long time. They have everything you can imagine and some things you never would have thought of in here.

Tote bags and tissues and wine boxes, oh my.

Stationary and invitation center ordering desks.

Fun, fun, fun cellophanes and boxes

Pretty pink lipstick colours for the girly girls.

And hot pink for the Hot Mamas.

Sophistication in a package.

I have asked them if they ship anywhere and she will have to get back to me on that one but in the mean time you should have a look around their website for great ideas for gift wrapping, food packaging like the cello bags and all kinds of chocolate boxes, jewelery boxes, Chinese food style boxes, paper shred, ribbons, totes, cardstock and so much more.
Ah yes this was a great day indeed.

  2. Ooo, eye candy nearly as sweet as Johnny Depp and bing cherries.
I imagine myself being a skillful gift wrapper, fashioning packages that make the recipient drool with anticipation.
In truth I'm just a tad better than my tinfoil-loving mama. (When she went fancy she used the comics section.)

  3. Wow! I will have to get myself out to this place!! I haven't had a chance yet to try out the new bridge but it sure looks pretty from the top of the hill on 200th street :)

We are really hoping that our transportation costs for our truckers will be impacted by the shorter commute out to your side of the valle!
