Even though I do push it to the limit by trying to take down small trees, I honestly think there is a subversive group of lawn care professionals designing the restringing of weed whackers. Enjoy your week.
Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02014200443279957847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259236724941582496.post-67621159589392399662013-08-26T06:26:11.484-07:002013-08-26T06:26:11.484-07:00Oh, now those last ones look like fun! I did the hose dragging thing until I hit upon this idea...

I installed a double headed spout at the faucet and hooked up 2 hoses to it. One hose gets laid out in one area of the yard and the other hose in the other area.

I turn on the faucet and open one of the connectors and sprinkle one section. Then I just turn that connector off and open the other one. Works like a charm!Kim@Snug Harborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12066749954523201722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259236724941582496.post-4288364450603039852013-08-25T15:11:35.447-07:002013-08-25T15:11:35.447-07:00I have to admit, I am sitting here laughing and dr...I have to admit, I am sitting here laughing and dry. I am in Dry California. At home, in Texas, my son is fighting the sprinkler war (I hope) to keep the shrubs alive. At home, I decided watering time was "shower" time. ;)
FranFranEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00727917499152200255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259236724941582496.post-91640203898043501062013-08-25T14:59:06.445-07:002013-08-25T14:59:06.445-07:00I have never won a battle with a sprinkler. Made me smile...and I sympathize with you completely.
Unfortunately, we (in the Southeast) have had no need for sprinklers this entire season. The sprinkler industry here must be suffering because we are UNDER WATER!
Sending you hugs,
JackieJackiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01214796594702277709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6259236724941582496.post-35347470564826792013-08-25T11:45:12.428-07:002013-08-25T11:45:12.428-07:00Ah Lori,...I too am sitting here wet, dirty, and w...Ah Lori,...I too am sitting here wet, dirty, and well actually I am barely wet because we have no water pressure. Bug bitten, and dirty that's what I am.

Our water pressure is so little right now that we can't use our sprinklers, they only trickle out a small stream of water, as we enviously watch the neighbors water the roofs of their houses....

The water gods have won, I give up.

JenRURAL https://www.blogger.com/profile/11871803235521431504noreply@blogger.com
