My wonderful brother disappeared out of our lives when I was 16, he was 27, his choice. We didn&#39;t see him for 10 years, didn&#39;t know if he was dead or alive. Then one day he showed up with a lovely family of 2 girls and 1 boy and in tow. He moved on after seeing us, when my Mom died 2 yrs later we didn&#39;t know where he was to let him know. He wondered in and out of our lives for the next 30 yrs. Now he is a whole part of our lives. One of my favorite things to do after everyone is in bed is to take one of my dogs for a long walk. It&#39;s always so quiet on Christmas Eve and so peaceful.
