Lori, Your transformation is fantastic!! I love what you did to this tub and love the watering can as a pump. Sorry I've been absent lately. I am so busy trying to get cleaning done. Ohhh we had that happen years ago (when we still had our house) ...the raccoons ate our koi, our expensive snails that were supposed to keep the pond algae-free, AND all of the plants -- and they dragged the pump out by the wires.

Hmm....maybe that's the day we decided to sell out and become full-time RVers. ;>))

Poor little fishies! I feel for you....it does get so aggravating. We live in the woods but don't have much problem from the coons it is the deer. They eat all my rose buds! I am about to claim an all out war. I go out every night and sprinkle baby powder or some stinky old 10 year old perfume or grate some Irish Spring in an attempt to change things up and keep them guessing. Deer don't like change and it scares them. So far my methods aren't working! LOL

I had my own battle with raccoons years ago when I was a caretaker at a farm/bed & breakfast. Unfortunately, during my experience, I was all too aware of what was going on since the raccoons were going after chickens and pulling their entrails out. It was horrible. Recently a friend had them coming in a doggie door and eating cat food. They sure are cute looking, but I'd rather not have to deal with them in or around my home.

My condolences on your fish, but the fountain looks nice regardless.

Ugh, I really don't like raccoons. I'm having major issues with bunnies this year. In fact, I caught one in my garden today and war has officially been declared.

You did a great job, it looks lovely, and those darn raccoons... honestly, I hate them.

I can't have any water on my deck at all, and how I miss it. Bootsie is worth more to me then a water feature, and it attracts raccoons, so we don't use it anymore.

They even turned over my huge plastic 3 foot container every night, rocks and all, until I got rid of it. No fish, no plants, just water, single minded creeps.
