A blast from the past for sure. Don't long for the good old days and those prices too quickly though because the average yearly income in 1957 was $3641.72 and in 2009 it was $41,334.97 so I think it is all relative.

I remember going into a Woolworth's New Brunswick when we were living in Maine... what a difference. I loved our Woolworth's but the Canadian version was a cut above. So interesting!

Hey and I don't live off of the income of 1957 with my SS from Uncle Sam ha ha!! sure wished I could still get a dime hamburger ha ha!! When growing up Woolworth's was the only big store in town-loved it!
