BELIEVE IT OR NOT

There is a web site called Not Always Right and it is just hilarious. There was a time that I would have thought this stuff was made up but since I have been working as a CSR I can assure you people are this...how should I put this delicately...SO FREAKING STUPID.
Anyway go by and have a look. You will surely get a chuckle and probably know someone like that in your own life. If it is you then I suggest you don't tell anyone.

  1. Lori-I did go look at this site and it does not surprise me at all. I have been working with Jane Q. Public for a long time. The only thing that helps is a good sense of humor!

  2. I'm biting my tongue on this one. Let is loose, and who knows what gems might spill. It's a great site, and I go to it when I need to know that many many other customer service reps have it worse then me.

  3. Very funny! Is it bad when I hang up on a computerized call center? I can't stand that they phone with a computer and make me wait for a real person to be able to politely end the call with :)

  4. Oh, this one touches home big time! I get so angry when they call even though we are on the national do not call list. I just got one this morning and asked please don't call anymore. There's just no end to it!

  5. I have no patience for those calling my home.
    I am referring to the people who call in to my work or other peoples work.
    My tolerance for abuse is dropping very quickly.
    I do keep my sense of humour though.

  6. But wait! Lori said CSR... Customer Service Rep! That's someone that you call for help, not a telephone solicitor? There's a ton of in-bound call centers and those people shouldn't be treated the same as those who call you. After all, when you call someone.... shouldn't you be at least nice?
