I am joining in with Tam @ The Gypsy's Corner for Three or More Tuesdays. There are way more than three in this video clip but I assure you they are all good ones. (except the baggy droopy pants...I don't care about those any more than my parents generation should have cared about guys with long hair or us wearing bellbottoms...every generation has their "thing" to annoy the grownups)

Is she supposed to be funny??
ReplyDeleteI think she is telling people to get off their asses and take responsibility for their actions. To quit whining about what everybody owes them and contribute to society.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all of it except the clothing issue. I don’t care who is wearing baggy pants or hoodies, tattooed or pierced. I have always been around a lot of young men, some of who look scary bad and yet they are the sweetest, kindest young men. Who gives a rat’s ass if they wear baggy pants. Our parents generation went nuts over guys having long hair. Pfffftttt. Get over it.
She is so right on Lori...thanks for sharing this video...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
ReplyDeleteHow banal!
ReplyDeleteLola, though she may not be very original I do like the sentiment behind her words. As I said above I am tired of everything wrong in someones life being blamed on everyone else. Culpability. Life is hard...get over it I say.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot Lori. It's true: "Shut up, and get of your ass and take responsibility for yourself." Nuff said! I'm passing this one along to my friends.
ReplyDeletePS: I have young adult kids, so baggy pants, tattoos, piercings etc. are all the norm. I had to suck it up and deal....
That was great!
ReplyDeleteGreat words to live by. I agree so much with the rest of your readers. Start taking responsibility for oneself. Being a single mom for 27yrs. I have tried to instill this in my children. My nineteen year old daughter is still a challenge. Good luck everyone. Love and Prayers, Suzanne
