DELURKER DAY: I MISSED IT. WHO KNEW?

Have you ever heard of such a thing? Delurker Day? This brilliant badge was created by Aimee @ Greeblemonkey. She says it is okay if you missed the actual day. She says we can celebrate it any day.
Do you know what that means? It means that all you wonderful but shy people reading this in private can jump out of the box and leave a comment to say hi. No more lurking for you. C'mon. You can do it. We are all very nice here. Well most of the time anyways.

  8. Hi Lori -- that is so funny; and I'd really feel silly if I didn't comment now! I know I have lurkers but that's OK with me actually. I love getting comments, but I also just get a kick out of seeing that I have visitors at all.

  9. I used to be a lurker, browsing blogs and not confident enough to leave a comment, then I saw the light when I got my first follower,@eloh,she gave me the confidence to keep my blog going.
I don't mind having lurkers, one day they will read something that appeals to them and they will make them selves known.

  10. I usually miss this one unless I happen upon a blog who shares on the day of ... but it seems like a fine idea and I keep 'delurking' images in the sidebars of two of my blogs ... encouraging folks to comment. I love the award you created and think it's a great idea to allow others to share it and to 'keep track' as you've explained. Seems like Melissa B of the Scholastic Scribe did something similar ... and I may create one of my own ... just because a good idea is a terrible thing to waste ;-)
    Hugs and blessings,

  11. BTW, With Death and Illness going on here, I lost the writing opportunity involving the best teacher memory. I'll be back for the next opportunity!

  16. Hi Lori -- sorry I scared you by delurking again ;>). Thanks for dropping by FT-L to let me know! We have been to beautiful BC several times, but in our pre-fulltime-life. Both camping and staying in hotels (we lived in the Eugene OR area with family in Seattle, so it wasn't a huge stretch to get there.) We'd love to come again, but since we have been fulltimers we've been trying to see places we couldn't get to during our working careers.
