AND I, too, leave flowers in their vases WAY past their pull-by date -- Howard is always shaking his head, and cleaning up old flowers and spilt pollen and stinky flower water. I just can never bear to toss them.
My in-laws? As soon as ONE PETAL shows a bit of droop, the arrangement is in the trash. I don't send them cut flowers anymore, just plants!
