SANTA COLLECTION #32


This postcard was printed in Germany but it was mailed in Portland, Oregon in 1907. The stamp was peeled of and there was no return address. It was mailed to Miss Rose Syfert, Beecher City, Ill.

    Beecher is about 30 miles or so from here. My kids grew up with a family names Seefert. I wonder if there was a change in spelling over the years.

    I love this. This Santa has to travel through the woods and snow to deliver his goodies - guess the reindeer can't fly into those tall trees! ;-)
