LUNCH IN SIDNEY, B.C.

We had a lovely lunch with my MIL and our SIL at this ocean side restaurant in Sidney, British Columbia. Unfortunately my husband's brother was busy and couldn't make it. It was short notice because we didn't know when we would get there until the night before and when talking to my MIL we understood she was calling him to see if he was available. That call didn't get made and in the end we phoned 10 minutes before we were going for lunch. It was obvious I didn't organize this this trip.
There is a walkway that goes all along the ocean
We didn't have time for dessert at the restaurant. My MIL had a fruit flan at home and wanted us to come there but what would take 20 minutes most places at her home would take well over an hour. There just wasn't time. We treated ourselves with gelato at the ferry terminal. We had no idea the scoops would be so big (that's my story and I'm sticking to it) so we order two scoops. I had a cappuccino and a chocolate mint and my BB had strawberry and amaretto. Ohhhhh baby this stuff is good. Not much left of his by the time I took the picture.

  1. It looks like you had an awesome time. The scenery is beautiful. Here I am a Canadian girl and I have never been to the West Coast of my own country. The shame. Now it's back to the old grind eh? I need to see pictures of you, and don't tell me there weren't any.

  2. I'm enjoying travelling with you through the photos! We didn't get quite as far as you have in the one year we lived in Vancouver.
