COOKING: Dragon Fruit


Have you ever seen a more amazing fruit in your life? It is absolutely stunning.
A Dragon Fruit, also known as Pitayas, are native to Mexico, Central and South America and also in Asian countries. It grows on a cactus and is similar in texture to a Kiwi fruit with a slightly different taste. It has many beneficial qualities the least of which is lowering cholesterol and blood pressure. Eaten regularly it may alleviate chronic respiratory tract problems.

  2. I would buy it just to cut it open and look at it but it tastes good to. Not very sweet but kind of like a kiwi with the same texture. Very refreshing.
